Cyber Security Consultant (m/w/d) in Bremen, Germany

Our Cyber Security Consultants are the first point of contact for developing strategies for our clients, including managing Information Security Management Systems (ISMS), ISO 27001, native or BSI IT-Grundschutz.

Responsibilities

1. Lead customer projects within a team, advising clients in corporate and governmental sectors on processual and technical aspects of IT and information security.
2. Assist clients in designing, implementing, and executing security and emergency concepts, secure processes, and ISMS/BCM.
3. Conduct risk analyses, business impact analyses, and internal audits, providing recommendations to improve their IT/information security, and contribute to awareness campaigns to sensitize employees.
4. Support the development of our consulting portfolio by integrating current market trends and developments (e.g., AI).

Minimum Requirements

• Completed studies in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Business Sciences, or equivalent vocational training (e.g., Fachinformatiker).
• Several years of professional experience in IT security, information security, or BCM, with knowledge of current cybersecurity regulations.
• Knowledge of IT components, infrastructures, networks, servers, and client applications.
• Experience with IT security analysis, ISO 27001 audits, and application of normative standards.
• Industry-standard certifications (e.g., BSI IT-Grundschutz Practitioner, ISO 27001 Implementer).
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to understand and steer complex interpersonal dynamics; adaptable and resourceful in various situations.
• Excellent German skills (C1) and good English skills (B2) in speaking and writing.
• Willingness to travel for projects.
