Jobbeschreibung

Abnormal Security is seeking an Enterprise Sales Engineer to join our growing Sales team in the DACH region. As an Enterprise Sales Engineer, you will be the customer's technical contact, crafting strategic business cases to win customers and help them conquer their email security challenges. This is the first Sales Engineer for the Central Europe team.

In conjunction with Enterprise Account Executives, you will conduct product demos, articulate the technical value of Abnormal Security products, and drive successful Proof of Value programs.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

  • Ability to link technology to business outcomes and drive value
  • Influence in virtual and in-person settings
  • High emotional intelligence; empathetic, attentive, and responsive
  • Strong presentation skills using PowerPoint or Google Slides
  • Customer needs discovery and solution architecting
What You Will Do
  • Lead technical sales activities, including managing proofs-of-value and customer relationships
  • Support pre-sales efforts for assigned accounts
  • Develop and implement sales strategies
  • Research customer and competitive landscapes
  • Educate sales teams on product features and security
  • Ensure customer satisfaction
Must Haves
  • 5+ years in sales engineering
  • Fluency in German
  • Background in messaging and internet security
  • Understanding of internet protocols and networking
  • Experience selling to FTSE 500 companies
  • Excellent technical communication skills
  • Ability to see the big picture and craft solutions
  • Ability to work independently
  • Positive attitude and ownership
  • BSc in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent
  • Security certifications (CISSP, CEH) a plus
