Overview

We are seeking a Senior Global Marketing Procurement Specialist to join the Global Procurement team at Delivery Hero, focusing on delivering exceptional experiences.

You will be part of a team responsible for ensuring Delivery Hero’s financial stability and growth. Your insights and analysis will guide business decisions, impacting innovation, expansion, and customer experience.

The Global Procurement team, based in Berlin, operates across over 70 markets to optimize sourcing and supplier relationships. This role, within the Marketing Procurement team, reports to the Senior Global Procurement Manager and works closely with regional category managers across Europe, APAC, MENA, and LATAM.

Your main focus will be on Creative Services, Performance Marketing (Paid Social, Programmatic, SEM), and Offline Media, ensuring cost-effective and impactful marketing investments. You will develop sourcing strategies, negotiate contracts, and influence stakeholders.

  1. Develop and implement global sourcing strategies for marketing categories, ensuring scalability and regional adoption, collaborating with regional managers. Lead supplier selection and contract negotiations for competitive pricing, compliance, and innovation.
  2. Coordinate procurement processes and best practices across regions, ensuring consistency and adherence to global standards. Engage in strategic discussions with regional managers to identify opportunities for optimization and innovation.
  3. Facilitate knowledge sharing and upskilling initiatives within regional teams to enhance procurement capabilities.
  4. Analyze media investments to improve efficiency, optimize agency relationships, and achieve better outcomes.
  5. Work closely with marketing, finance, procurement, and other stakeholders to implement best practices.
  6. Establish frameworks for supplier management and contract performance to ensure governance and compliance.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in marketing and media procurement, category management, or a similar strategic role. Certifications like CIPS are a plus.
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on execution skills—able to build and implement sourcing strategies in a decentralized organization.
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills—capable of interpreting business challenges, building cases, and recommending best practices.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills—able to convey complex topics clearly and build trust with C-level executives and teams across markets.
  • Expertise in negotiation and supplier management—leading high-value negotiations and managing global contracts for value, innovation, and sustainability.
  • Proactive, results-oriented team player with a global mindset—taking ownership, solving problems, and mentoring others.
