Medical Information Specialist with German and English language (m/w/d)
  1. Responsibilities
  2. Provide phone support to healthcare professionals and consumers regarding adverse events, product quality complaints, medical inquiries, product support, and other needs (excluding commercial sales support).
  3. Receive, triage, review, and process Lifecycle safety operational data. Perform data entry for tracking and databases, code relevant medical terminology, write descriptive narratives, generate queries, perform quality control, assist with reconciliation, drive case closure, and coordinate translations.
  4. Receive and document incoming calls or emails from investigative sites or other sources reporting safety data.
  5. Build a positive, collaborative team environment within the Lifecycle safety team, lead by example, and provide training and mentoring to less experienced team members.
  6. Establish and maintain effective communication within project teams.
  7. Liaise with Project Managers by proactively identifying issues and proposing solutions.
  8. Participate in training on Lifecycle safety processes and service offerings, and contribute to the implementation of new initiatives.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  1. Must be a Pharmacist.
  2. Excellent written and verbal skills in English (minimum C1) and native German.
  3. Willingness and aptitude to learn new skills across Lifecycle Safety service lines.
  4. High attention to detail and accuracy, maintaining high-quality standards.
  5. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  6. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, managers, and clients.
  7. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and organize workload effectively.
Minimum Required Education and Experience
  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy.
  2. Fluency in English (minimum C1) and native German language.
