The Role

The Account Executive is responsible for bringing new restaurants onto our dining network through a consultative sales approach.

OpenTable's Account Executive team is dedicated to enhancing restaurant revenue potential by applying best-in-class front-of-house management and online reservation technology. We seek sales professionals passionate about the restaurant industry and enthusiastic about working with industry-leading technology.

This is a remote position with up to 60% domestic travel.

This role requires you to be a native German speaker with proficiency in English.

In this Role you will :

  • Identify, target, and approach prospective restaurant customers within your territory to sell OpenTable products.
  • Build and maintain relationships with top and elite restaurants, serving as a trusted adviser.
  • Provide high-quality, data-driven demos of OpenTable products, tailored to each partner’s needs.
  • Drive revenue by connecting with restaurateurs and creating opportunities for mutual success.
  • Encourage clients to think differently about their business.
  • Develop strategic plans to define your sales strategies and tactics.
  • Consistently exceed monthly and quarterly acquisition and revenue targets.
  • Leverage customer feedback to refine the sales process and product offerings.
  • Use Salesforce to manage your territory, stay organized, forecast sales, and process contracts.
  • Enhance your product knowledge and expertise in data tools like Preset.
  • Engage in networking events and industry activities to increase visibility in the hospitality sector.

  • You are a native German speaker and proficient in English.
