What we are looking for:

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer with a strong background in the renewable energy sector. Your role will encompass the planning and implementation of monitoring systems and power plant controls for photovoltaic projects at a national and international scale.

You will be responsible for providing project support from the initial quotation phase through to project completion, as well as providing technical support to colleagues in sales. This role requires a proactive individual capable of designing comprehensive PV plant monitoring systems for new installations and seamlessly integrating them into existing projects through retrofitting.

What you will do:

• Independent planning / project planning of monitoring systems and power plant control for photovoltaic plants of national and international projects
• Generation of bus and network diagrams for monitoring of plant components
• Creation of communication circuit diagrams with AutoCAD
• Configuration of telecontrol gateways (IEC 61131-3)
• Complete project support from the quotation phase to project completion
• Assessment of grid connections and requirements for power plant control of national and international projects
• Preparation of project specific performance specifications for the grid connection of a plant controller
• Technical support of national and international colleagues in Sales
• Design of complete PV plant monitoring systems for new plants as well as integration of existing projects (retrofit)

Who you are:

• Graduated in electrical engineering, controls engineering
• Renewable energy knowledge
• 1-2 years of professional experience in the PV sector, solar power plants, wind and hydro
• Good knowledge of bus and network design and relevant regulations
• Experience in using AutoCAD
• Very good English and German skills, other languages are a plus
• Quick learner for a diverse work environment; ability to think out-of-the-box; positive mindset
