COMPANY OVERVIEW
A Japanese factory automation company is looking for a technical sales representative (m/f/d) in Stuttgart.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with end users and machine manufacturer customers, mainly in the automotive industry. Promotion to a supervisory position may be possible in the future.
  • Locate new customers focusing on newly launched products (magnetic clamps and index tables) in the European market.
  • Develop and implement mid- to long-term sales strategies autonomously. Home office is permitted as per agreement.
  • Collaborate with the product development department at headquarters to develop new products for new business fields.
  • Additional duties such as preparing for exhibitions and updating the website may be assigned.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (detailed)

  • Focus on locating new customers for newly launched products.
  • Manage sales across Europe, initially within Germany and neighboring countries.
  • Manage existing important customers to understand the business model.
  • Conduct market analysis and plan for business growth.
  • Perform sales activities including product explanations, technical support, reports, quotations, on-site support, after-sales service, and agent support.
  • Organize exhibitions, update the website, and maintain sales management tools.
  • Possible business travels to Japan for training or meetings.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to set goals and work independently.
  • Native German and fluent English; additional languages preferred.
  • Technical background (education, knowledge, experience) is preferred.
