Your responsibilities
- Define and implement governance for segment risk processes.
- Provide transparency on EIS risk positions and develop risk mitigation strategies.
- Aggregate portfolio risk positions in cooperation with CCO / CTO, oversee and report aggregated risk across EIS projects.
- Implement a new interface with EEM (e.g., for EIS green portfolio) to manage commodity risk positions and flexibilities.
- Act as a trusted Business Partner, challenger, and advisor to EIS business leaders, including participation in the EIS Germany Risk Committee.
- Build close and proactive cooperation with key stakeholders in EIS Germany to prepare a joint holistic view of financials, risks, and opportunities.
- Support the Management Board in decision-making by preparing and advising on overall risk exposure for financial mid-term plans and forecasts for the segment.
- Challenge and approve risk mitigation strategies and limits of the unit, subject to delegation from the Risk Committee.
- Represent the risk management perspective independently in projects and working groups.
- Enable and share best practices and information within the EIS Risk Community.
Requirements
- Degree in business administration, Economics, Mathematics, Quantitative Finance, or a similar field.
- Several years of professional experience in Risk Management and/or controlling.
- Sound business experience with extensive knowledge of EIS business models.
- Result-oriented with the ability to develop excellent results independently.
- Excellent analytical skills and quick understanding of business models or commercial deals.
- Experience as a project lead or comparable role.
- Team player mentality.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Highly motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Business proficiency in German and English.
