Your Tasks

• Manage a team supporting short-term operations, including project management, market analytics, meteorology, and algo trading.
• Develop automated trading strategies for flexible assets in Germany, the Netherlands, and the UK.
• Manage internal and external stakeholders regarding flex projects.
• Act as an interface between regional trading teams, asset management, and the virtual power plant development team.
• Take commercial responsibility for algo/auto trading strategies in short-term markets.
• Support the setup of new products, assets, or processes for short-term trading.
• Ensure continuous improvement and automation of trading processes with IT.
• Support and promote the personal development of team members.

Your Profile

• Degree in Engineering, Energy Economics, or similar.
• Understanding of Day Ahead, Intraday, and ancillary service markets in Germany, Netherlands, and/or the UK.
• Knowledge of market rules, processes, and regulations in short-term trading.
• Experience as a Power Trader, Power Optimizer, or similar.
• Experience in short-term gas operation is advantageous.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt to dynamic markets and challenge the status quo.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with proven P&L contribution.

Fluency in English and German is required.
