The Amazon Aurora Storage platform team is looking for experienced software engineers excited about building large-scale systems spanning tens of thousands of servers across multiple data centers worldwide. These core system development positions involve owning the design and development of significant software components critical to our industry-leading database services architected for the cloud. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience building complex software systems successfully delivered to customers
• C++ proficiency

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience in large distributed system design, deep database expertise, or system programming (multi-threading, memory management, synchronization)
