Your Role

As a Safety Manager Operations, your responsibilities include ensuring a safe and compliant working environment. Your focus will be on workplace safety, risk assessment, and implementing safety protocols to maintain high occupational health standards. You will work with managers, employees, and external partners to develop and improve safety procedures.

• Develop and implement working procedures and materials to ensure compliance with occupational safety regulations.
• Design workplaces, workflows, and environments according to ergonomic and safety standards.
• Provide guidance on workplace health and safety topics to managers, employees, and works councils.
• Act as a security-related consultant for customers and external stakeholders.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation measures for workplace hazards.
• Plan and deliver occupational safety training sessions.
• Perform safety inspections and investigate workplace accidents to determine root causes and corrective actions.
• Regularly inspect workplaces, document findings, and propose safety improvements.

About You

• Proficiency in German is mandatory.
• Degree in Occupational Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related fields (e.g., Certified Safety Specialist (Sicherheitsfachkraft)).
• Several years of experience in occupational safety or related roles.
• Deep knowledge of German occupational safety laws and regulations.
• Strong communication and advisory skills for stakeholder interaction.
• Experience conducting risk assessments and safety programs.
• Ability to train employees on safety topics.
• Analytical and proactive problem-solving skills.
