We’re on the lookout for curious, motivated individuals who are eager to roll up their sleeves, learn on the job, and grow with us. As a Product Designer at XING Marketing Solutions, you’ll help shape both our advertising and recruiting products for B2B customers across the D-A-CH region. You’ll dive into everything from crafting smooth ad placements on xing.com and mobile, to designing the full user journey on recruiting.xing.com—our go-to storefront for business customers. Using real user data and analytics as your guide, you’ll turn insights into interfaces that boost engagement, retention, and ROI. Working hand-in-hand in agile, cross-functional squads with product managers, engineers, and data analysts, you’ll own the design process from early wireframes and prototypes through to polished UI components and a consistent design system.
Your tasks:
- Shape how users experience our product - from the first click to completing complex tasks - by designing clear, useful, and intuitive interfaces.
- Simplify complex workflows and improve how users navigate through the product by refining structure, layout, and interactions.
- Use research and testing to uncover what users need - then turn those insights into smart design decisions that make our product better.
- Continuously improve features and flows based on findings from user research, product data, and team feedback.
- Build and test interactive prototypes to explore ideas early and make confident design choices through user feedback.
- Ensure the quality and usability of your designs by collaborating closely with product and engineering - balancing user needs, technical feasibility, and business goals.
- Deepen your understanding of our B2B users’ day-to-day challenges so the product becomes more helpful, efficient, and intuitive over time.
- Contribute to our design system so that teams across the company can build consistent and accessible experiences faster.
Your skills:
- You’re able to turn complex systems into experiences that feel simple and purposeful to the user.
- You actively work with research findings - using interviews, testing, or surveys to guide your decisions and advocate for real user needs.
- You communicate your design decisions clearly - showing how they solve user problems and how they fit into the bigger picture.
- You use design methods (like journey mapping, prototyping, or testing) not just because they’re standard, but because they help you reach better outcomes.
- You’re comfortable using tools like Figma or Miro to explore ideas, test them quickly, and work with others.
- You design for consistency and usability across platforms - keeping current with platform guidelines and evolving best practices.
- You share early ideas and unfinished work to get feedback quickly - helping the team spot issues early and improve concepts before they’re built.
- You are fluent in both German and English.
