Job Description:

Overview of Your Day:
Your day begins with dedicated focus time to plan your tasks. You then attend project meetings to discuss customer requirements and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams. You work on 3D models and design modifications in CAD, followed by team follow-ups and project updates with your line manager and technical specialists.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop HVDC & FACTS layouts in CAD, based on project requirements
• Lead primary engineering tasks including 3D modeling, drawings, calculations per IEC standards, busbar and clamp design, earthing and lightning protection, load plans, and installation drawings
• Coordinate with engineering teams, equipment manufacturers, and logistics to ensure timely project delivery
• Assist procurement in supplier validation and material coordination
• Provide technical support on-site during installation and commissioning as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or comparable technical education and experience
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and high voltage systems (AC substations, HVDC, FACTS)
• Proficiency in CAD tools such as AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, Siemens NX, Primtech, or similar
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail, with strong communication skills for global teamwork
