We offer exciting projects at our renowned customer Airbus Defence and Space, and we are looking for a motivated employee for the position "System Engineer (m/f/d) - Flight Management Systems Software".

• Research activities in various topics
• Investigation and development of algorithms to incorporate different technical and operational aspects into different optimization approaches
• Integration of these functions in a demonstrator for wider functional context
• Specifying and managing Verification & Validation activities, including laboratory tests
• Prepare demonstrations for stakeholders and the customer
• Document results, identify gaps, and formulate a way forward

Your profile:

• Completed studies in Computer Science, Engineering, Aerospace, or a comparable qualification
• More than three years of professional experience in the field of Computer Science
• Experience in (Mission) Network Systems, Time Synchronization Systems, Flight Management Systems, or similar is desirable
• Experience with machine learning (supervised or unsupervised) is beneficial
• Experience in C++ or Python is required
• German knowledge is a plus
