Lead the Growth of Deep-Sea Automotive Logistics

Stena Glovis, a joint venture between Sweden’s Stena and Korea’s Hyundai Glovis, is a high-quality finished vehicle logistics provider offering Deep-Sea, Short-Sea and Ferry services. With a reputation for reliability, innovation, and customer focus, we support some of the world’s largest OEMs across global vehicle transport flows.

We are now looking for a commercially experienced Trade Manager to support the deep-sea OEM vehicle trade. Based in Hamburg, this role offers an exciting opportunity to develop and manage strategic cargo flows across key global markets for the growing fleet of Hyundai Glovis PCTC carriers.

About the Role

As Trade Manager, you will control the commercial and operational performance of assigned deep-sea trades. You’ll define the trade strategy, manage space allocation and pricing, and work closely with OEM customers to deliver reliable and cost-effective logistics solutions. Collaborating with our own teams in freight sales, vessel planning, and cargo operations, you will ensure strong trade performance and customer satisfaction. You will also be in contact with Hyundai Glovis various teams across the world.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute trade strategies for deep-sea OEM vehicle flows to optimize revenue, utilization and quality.
• Monitor trade performance through regular analysis and KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and growth.
• Manage cargo mix, pricing decisions, and capacity allocations in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
• Function as a commercial liaison with key OEM customers, understanding their logistics needs and aligning with network capabilities.
• Identify market trends and competitive insights to shape strategic positioning and future trade development.
• Represent Stena Glovis as a trade expert in customer engagements.

Your Profile

• Solid experience in trade management, vessel operation, ocean shipping and/or finished vehicle logistics (RoRo/OEM focus preferred)
• Fundamental understanding of the vehicle logistics supply chain and customer expectations
• Strong commercial mindset with strong analytical, planning, and negotiation skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, international environment.
• Fluent in English (additional languages such as German or Korean is a plus)
• Based in Hamburg region.
