Overview

Inventory & Asset Management technicians are responsible for inbound/outbound logistics tasks, inventory cycle audits, and Data Center regulatory compliance activities. You will guide your employees to effectively run warranty processes and data bearing device (DBD) destruction. This role offers an opportunity to model leadership principles, focus on accurately and efficiently completing Inventory and Asset Management (IAM) tasks, and work with stakeholders to manage escalations.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma AND 3+ years of experience in warehouse/supply chain in an IT environment, inventory management, retail, logistics, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Ability to meet security screening requirements, including passing the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in warehouse/supply chain in an IT environment, operating heavy-load equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jacks).
• Certification in APICS/ASCM, IAITAM, Inventory Control, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations ensuring inbound/outbound processes run smoothly.
• Assess workflows and reassign resources to meet deadlines.
• Manage and communicate project plans with stakeholders.
• Document, track, and resolve issues with stakeholders and suppliers.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors for DBD destruction, ensuring data security.
• Ensure compliance with methodologies for contract and purchase order delivery.
• Process procurement requests supporting server, network, SAN, and spare parts.
• Provide leadership and ensure team compliance with safety procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve workstreams through automation and simplification.
