Indirect Tax (VAT) Analyst (m/w/x)

1. Develop professional relationships with the business and provide support on requests, advice on (inter)national VAT matters, and coordinate between teams, including Finance, IT, legal, and external advisors;
2. Manage VAT compliance for registrations in the EMEA region;
3. Support VAT consultants with compliance preparations;
4. Liaise with external VAT advisors;
5. Monitor and implement changes in VAT legislation in the EMEA region;
6. Provide VAT training to internal departments.

Job Level Specifications:

1. Degree in business administration, economics, law, or similar; specialization in tax is a plus;
2. 3-5 years of experience in an international tax (VAT) department or consultancy (e.g., Big4);
3. Understanding of operational processes and business models;
4. Experience in indirect tax law (VAT) preferred;
5. Expertise in indirect taxes, especially German VAT;
6. Basic knowledge of corporate tax is advantageous;
7. Fluent in English and German, both spoken and written;
8. Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, SAP, and tax technology;
9. Strong communication, presentation, and confident appearance;
10. Team player with the ability to work independently in a results-oriented environment;
11. Willingness to travel occasionally and adapt to flexible working arrangements.
