Job Summary:

To expand our team in Plattling, we are looking for a

Test Engineer (m/f/d) / Test Technician (m/f/d) Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) with focus on Automotive

Responsibilities include:

• Preparation of test plans and offers for EMC and electrical demands
• Independent conducting of measurements on vehicle components and complete vehicles in cooperation with customers
• Evaluating EMC components and test results of complete vehicles
• Performing failure analyses in case of non-compliance with applicable standards
• Developing tailored customer solutions (e.g., optimization of the EMC of circuits)
• Preparation of test reports and documentation of test results
• Maintaining and developing lab equipment

Qualifications and skills we expect:

• University degree (Diploma, Bachelor, Master); or apprenticeship as an electronics technician (m/f/d) with education as a state-certified technician (m/f/d) in electrical engineering, communications and information technology, automotive technology, electromobility or comparable with thorough electrical knowledge
• Good knowledge of measurement procedures (EMC testing)
• Good knowledge of analog/digital circuit technology
• Knowledge of relevant directives and standards
• German (Level B1/B2) and good English skills
• Ability to work independently, systematically, and unsupervised in a team environment
• Flexibility and good interpersonal skills with effective communication abilities
