System Architect Pre-Development Tracked Vehicles (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:

1. Technical responsibility for complex partial / complete systems
2. Definition of installation spaces and interfaces, including installation space analyses
3. Creation and management of weight and energy balances
4. Development of concepts and feasibility studies at sub / overall system level, including specifications and ICDs
5. Development and visualization of concepts in CAD
6. Creation of parts lists and structures
7. Development of a digital mock-up (DMU)
8. Design of components for rapid demonstrator realization
9. Development of quantity structures, management plans, and schedules
10. Coordination and management of work packages internally and externally
11. Collaboration with departments (logistics, purchasing, production) and external suppliers
12. Conducting reviews (internal / external)

Qualifications:

1. University degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable field
2. Several years of professional experience in the relevant field
3. Military background is an advantage
4. Proficiency in CAD design with Siemens NX
5. Knowledge of DOORS, PLM, and MS Office
6. Experience in the defense or automotive industry is an advantage
7. Excellent written and spoken English skills
8. High flexibility and stress resistance
9. Willingness to travel occasionally
