About Perosphere Technologies
Perosphere Technologies is changing the way decisions are made for patients at risk for bleeding. A private medical technologies company, Perosphere is focused on development and commercialization of the novel PoC (point-of-care) Coagulometer, which informs diagnosis, treatment, and prevention through precision data, made immediately accessible to all. It is the only point-of-care (POC) diagnostic tool that effectively and swiftly tests clotting times across drug classes, including Direct Oral Anticoagulants (DOACs). The fast diagnosis and related appropriate treatment decisions the PoC Coagulometer enables will help establish a new standard of care in hospital emergency departments for patients at risk for bleeding and has the potential to improve efficiency, provide significant cost savings, and better patient outcomes.
Perosphere Technologies is funded by Advantage Capital Partners, Ambit Health Ventures, Connecticut Innovations, Ogden, and others, and has been awarded multiple federal grants from the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
We are open to hiring candidates based in Germany or Europe for this position, which requires extensive travel throughout the European Union (~80% travel). This is NOT a US-based role.
Position Summary :
The Sales Representative (SR) role is a developmental role for candidates with limited clinical laboratory (focus – haemostasis & coagulation), medical device or diagnostic medical device sales experience. This is an opportunity to enter diagnostic medical device sales at base level and develop skills to advance within a sales team. The SR will need to learn and understand the Perosphere ClotChek technology, the basics of haemostasis & coagulation, the dynamics of a hospital, and the business of innovative conceptual medical device sales. The SR would work independently but under the tutelage of experienced medical device sales professionals to introduce and expand the usage of a novel diagnostic medical device throughout a hospital and patients’ clinical pathway.

Work Conditions :
This role is a field position and could require up to 80% travel minimum dependent on territory. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to work near patient care environments. The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 25 pounds.
