Are you interested in Computer Science, IT processes, and want to immerse yourself in the world of coding? Have you always been fascinated by travel and enjoy traveling yourself? Can you imagine combining the two?
Then we are exactly what you are looking for! We are one of the largest IT service providers in the travel industry and, as a Dual Partner of the DHBW Mannheim, we are seeking students who want to study Applied Computer Science with us.
Your program combines practical work at our company with theoretical lectures at the DHBW in Mannheim. During your studies, you will acquire relevant knowledge from programming to IT infrastructure, learning how to select, integrate, and develop computer systems, networks, and applications. Additionally, you will train soft skills and learn company-relevant subjects such as project management and intercultural communication.
You will work in an international, agile team at Amadeus Bad Homburg, applying what you learn at university in practice. You will work on solutions and projects for the travel industry, exploring technologies like programming languages, GenAI, and Cloud technologies, and methodologies such as Agile development. A supervisor will support you throughout your practical phases.
The degree lasts 3 years (6 semesters). We also offer a 2-month internship before starting to give you insights into our team and prepare you for your studies.
Hybrid working (remote & in-office), flexible hours, 38.5-hour week, 30 days holiday
1st year: €1200/month, 2nd year: €1350/month, 3rd year: €1500/month. Additional benefits include €350 housing allowance, €100 literature fund, job ticket premium, covered tuition fees, company laptop, and corporate benefits like the DRV Travel Industry Card.
