As Buyer,you will join a high-performing team to plan, develop, and purchase our private label casegoods furniture. You will take ownership of product development and orders, support procurement tasks, and manage performance KPIs. Working closely with the creative, quality, SCM, and merchandising teams, you will help bring creative solutions and commercial strategies to life, while always keeping our compliance standards and sustainability targets in mind. Your role includes developing products, managing purchase orders, tracking market trends and sourcing new vendors. This position is unlimited and based in Munich.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • lead product development procedures, production follow-up, and supply base management to ensure optimal buying opportunities for the category
  • cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with suppliers, collaborating to prevent and resolve issues, and developing growth and improvement action plans
  • source new suppliers, cross-quote, and re-source existing products, seeking cost-saving opportunities while enhancing product value for money
  • collaborate with Creative, Quality, Product Management, Merchandising, and SCM teams to support their objectives
YOU COME WITH
  • experience as a buyer in a fast-paced environment, preferably in the home & living industry
  • ability to multitask and attention to detail
  • excellent negotiation, analytical, financial, strategic, and planning skills
  • good communication and presentation skills
  • hands-on attitude, confidence, and proactivity as well as an efficient team player
