Job Title

Group Senior Legal Counsel Data Privacy, IT and Legal Operations (f / m / d)

Company Overview

Our client is an internationally operating company in the healthcare sector.

Role Overview

You will report to the General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer and provide strategic and operational legal advice to the Group and senior management across various departments, especially Procurement and IT. Your responsibilities include ensuring compliance with data privacy laws, negotiating large group-wide IT contracts, and reviewing a variety of agreements related to IT.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Negotiate, draft, and review legal agreements, particularly in IT.
  2. Advise on all legal matters relevant to the role.
  3. Oversee critical areas such as AI law and cybersecurity law.
  4. Partner closely with other group functions to navigate legal complexities in these domains.
  5. Support the Group General Counsel in projects that enhance global governance and reporting by establishing the legal operations backbone.
Qualifications
  • Qualified in a European jurisdiction.
  • At least five years of experience, preferably in an international in-house legal department.
  • Relevant experience in IT, contract law, and data protection law.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with various stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English; fluency in German is a plus.
  • Strong business acumen and willingness to grow within the legal department.
