Qualifikationen

Are you a language enthusiast with a passion for innovation? We are seeking a talented and motivated Language Engineer Working Student to join our internationalization team for BMW's Voice Assistant. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for training the Dutch language models, testing and improving them, and playing a crucial role in creating an exceptional customer experience for the Dutch market.

What to expect?

• Participate in the development and training of Dutch language models for the new BMW Voice Assistant
• Conduct in-car testing and evaluation of the language models to ensure accuracy and performance
• Identify areas for improvement in the Dutch language models and implement enhancements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve language-related issues
• Be part of the internationalization team and work closely with the external translation service provider
• Play a key role in creating an exceptional customer experience by providing insights and recommendations for the Dutch market

What you bring in?

• Currently pursuing a degree in Linguistics, Computer Science, or any other relevant field, minimum 3rd semester
• Located in Munich to be 75% onsite in the Munich Technology Center
• Native-level proficiency in the Dutch language, strong proficiency in English (written and spoken). German is a plus, but not a must.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality work
• Ability to work collaboratively in an international team environment
• Optional: Experience in natural language processing and natural understanding technologies
• Optional: Experience in software development tools and working methods (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Kanban, Scrum)
