RESPONSIBILITIES

Within the globally operating Digital Farming business, we strive for data-driven business steering from controlling, procurement, and finance.

• As Controlling and Business Services Head, you and your team are responsible for monthly and annual reporting on the digital farming business across all countries and regions, including preparing comments and presentations on financial matters.
• You will lead the development of Digital Farming's internal reporting and accounting systems.
• You will conduct systematic and ad-hoc analyses of key sales and cost drivers (digital product and country view) and present conclusions, proposals for actions, or countermeasures to the Global Digital Farming Core Leadership Team.
• You will manage the annual budget processes for all countries and regions, including business planning, cost items, fixed costs, FTE, and revenue development, and present findings to the AP Executive Leadership Team.
• You will ensure efficient, compliant procurement processes and prepare annual financial statements for BASF Digital Farming GmbH.
• You will be a member of the Global Digital Farming Core Leadership Team and represent Digital Farming in the Global Controlling Leadership Team of Agricultural Solutions, acting as a point of contact for regional and country controllers to ensure a consistent approach.

QUALIFICATIONS

• University degree in business administration or a related field
• At least 5 years of professional experience with initial leadership responsibilities
• Expertise in controlling and reporting
• Strong analytical skills and a systematic approach to problem-solving
• Excellent communication skills in German and English
