Qualifikationen

ABOUT THE JOB

Gunzilla Games is seeking a talented and experienced 3D Concept Artist (Hard Surface team) to create standout concepts for our game OTG (Off The Grid), an all-new AAA Extraction Battle Royale shooter, currently available as Early Access on PlayStation5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a 3D Concept Artist, you will:

  • Work with the art director, hard surface and weapon artists to create a cast of believable weapons, vehicles, and other hard surface props elements
  • Design original concepts that fit within the project style guide
  • Translate high-level ideas into production-ready art packets
  • Maintain the art direction while providing a variety of ideas and explorations
  • Provide in-depth research, reference material, and develop conceptual ideas
  • Create storyboards and dynamic keyframes that illustrate the story and gameplay
REQUIREMENTS
  • Over 4 years of experience as a 3D Concept Artist in the gaming industry, specializing in hard surface and weapon direction art
  • Create concepts from scratch and create color studies
  • Create concepts/explorations at different quality outputs, from sketches to final key art
  • Traditional illustration skills in multiple media and excellent drawing skills, matte painting experience
  • Fundamental skills, including good use of line, light, shadow, and color
  • Experience with storytelling and concept development
  • Value working with specific styles, including a style set by another artist or art director
  • Good English communication and writing skills
