Main responsibilities

Manage end-to-end consumer and shopper engagement for the German CHC business, overseeing category growth teams including Brand Management, CMI, Digital, Media, Innovation, Consumer/HCP, and Shopper Activation. Collaborate with global and local brand teams for both global and local brands.

  • Define portfolio strategy with local GM and global brand teams, managing resources for above-market growth, fostering a challenge mindset to drive innovation and profitable growth.
  • Identify future skill sets and mindsets needed for success.
  • Plan innovation pipelines in collaboration with global teams.
  • Participate in the country CHC Leadership Team, representing marketing and helping to shape company culture and alignment.
  • Develop annual execution, promotion, and launch plans.
  • Challenge the status quo from marketing and innovation perspectives.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, digital/e-commerce, medical, regulatory, and global teams.
  • Lead, evaluate, and implement the country’s strategic growth plan, ensuring success at the point of sale.
  • Focus on achieving above-market growth, sales, and profitability objectives.
  • Lead digital and media teams to create harmonized plans.
  • Ensure effective collaboration with global GMs for global brands.

People Management Mindset

  • Foster a culture of a “can do” challenger mindset, ownership, responsibility, sustainability, and digital savviness.
  • Lead, coach, challenge, and evaluate team performance to keep the team energized and motivated.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or sciences; MBA is a plus.
  • At least 12 years in marketing (global/local), with team leadership experience. Sales experience is a plus.
  • Experience in Consumer Healthcare or FMCG, proven track record in marketing roles.
  • International experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, entrepreneurial spirit, trend awareness, digital skills, negotiation, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to lead through transformation, empower teams, and think strategically.
  • Creative, collaborative, adaptable, and digitally savvy.

Languages

  • Excellent German and English communication skills; French is a plus.
