Your role

In close cooperation with management, business units, and corporate functions, you will:

• Lead strategic projects at ZEISS Group
• Act as an initiator for project roadmaps aligned with ZEISS strategy
• Evaluate new fields of technology in collaboration with R&D departments and business units
• Analyze ZEISS core competencies to identify market potentials and trends
• Lead key strategic projects and implement initiatives to grow, internationalize, and digitize the business, positioning ZEISS as a global market shaper

Your responsibilities include planning, controlling, structuring, and budgeting projects, as well as communicating with top leadership and managing stakeholders.

Your Profile

• A degree with excellent grades in natural sciences, engineering, or economics; a PhD or MBA is a plus
• At least 4 years of professional experience in a leading management consultancy or corporate strategy
• Profound experience in market and competition analysis, technology and innovation management
• Proven success in leading large teams and managing complex projects
• Outstanding analytical skills, strategic thinking, and creativity
• Ability to work in an agile environment within diverse, interdisciplinary teams, with strong communication skills
• Passion for innovation and enthusiasm for new technologies
