German Game Linguist Role

The German Game Linguist role involves translating game content from English into German. This position requires excellent language skills, creativity, and a passion for games.

This is an in-house position working on a client-specific project expected to last 6 months, with the possibility of extension. The role requires working at our Keywords office in Barcelona, located at Carrer de la Diputació, 280, 08009. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a team focusing on in-game content for a leading games publisher.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Translate in-game content from English to German to a high-quality standard.
• Ensure all linguistic aspects of your assigned translations meet the highest quality.
• Collaborate with other linguists on the project.

Requirements

• Passion for the gaming industry.
• Educational qualification in linguistics or equivalent experience.
• Experience in translation, copywriting, or linguistics.
• Excellent verbal and written skills in both German and English.
• Self-motivated and capable of working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
