This job can be based in any of the main EU corporate offices (London, Munich, Paris, Madrid, Milan). We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our EU Other Hardlines team. In this senior role, you will serve as the EU lead Account Manager (internal job title: Strategic Brand Specialist) for our Amazon Vendor Service (AVS) program and manage one of our biggest and most strategic vendors in EU Other Hardlines. You will act as a consultant and influential partner for senior stakeholders to drive long-term growth.

Amazon Vendor Services (AVS) is a paid B2B service that helps strategically grow complex brands on Amazon. You will have holistic exposure to e-commerce operations at a European level. Your responsibilities include serving as the lead Account Manager for top-priority vendors, delivering high-quality account management, and collaborating cross-functionally to design and execute long-term strategies. You will leverage industry expertise to guide the account team, drive selection and promotional activities, define success metrics, and propose innovative solutions to shape the future of AVS.

Furthermore, you will collaborate with external decision-makers such as Sales and Account Directors, and internal stakeholders like Category Leaders, the Head of Vendor Management, Supply Chain Management, and Finance. You will ideate new business opportunities and bring forward creative ideas to elevate our service.

Key job responsibilities
  1. Core Service:
  2. Impact vendor-level and deliver cross-divisional vendor projects across Marketing & Promotions, Selection & IDQ (Item Data Quality), and Availability & Operational Excellence. Scale best practices to total Consumables.
  3. Develop and nurture strategic, long-term vendor relationships by delivering exceptional account management that maximizes vendor satisfaction.
  4. Identify impactful business opportunities by working backward from vendor and customer needs to elevate both experiences.
  5. Design and execute business strategies across multiple marketplaces and categories, coordinating large cross-functional teams.
  6. Determine the best approach for team productivity, overseeing and providing strategic direction for other EU workstreams on vendor priorities.
  7. Define and audit metric goals, ensuring the account team is set up for success and blockers are removed.
  8. Provide strategic insights based on your industry experience to shape long-term partnerships.
  9. Identify new growth opportunities and create customized solutions for scaling.
  10. Partner with internal teams to drive strategic vendor discussions.
Project Work

Lead key projects across EU Other Hardlines and the Retail business or AVS organization, owning project design and strategy, and delivering end-to-end results.

We drive strategic growth across major European markets through brand positioning and operational excellence. Our team combines commercial expertise with innovative problem-solving to manage vendor relationships and multi-channel strategies, navigating cross-functional initiatives to deliver business impact.

Grundqualifikationen
  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing or similar.
  • Minimum 6 years of Retail or E-Commerce Account Management experience across buying, sales, merchandising, marketing, operations, or logistics.
  • Experience managing a business with P&L responsibilities.
  • Effective communication with diverse functional groups, including senior leaders.
  • Proven results delivery in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
  • Ability to develop ideas independently and thrive in a startup environment.
  • Strong social skills to build internal and external relationships.
  • Experience managing large-scale projects end-to-end with large teams.
  • Excellent English communication skills (minimum C1 level).
  • Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Bevorzugte Qualifikationen
  • Knowledge of a second language.
  • Experience with analytical and productivity tools like Salesforce, Google Analytics, SQL, HTML, CMS.
