A leading company in energy technology is seeking a Werkstudent in Software Documentation/Technical Writing. You will support the Marine Engineering Team in Berlin, focusing on creating documentation for software used in electrical machine design. As a Werkstudent in Software Documentation / Technical Writing, you will support the Marine Engineering Team at Berlin in developing and maintaining the Electrical Engineering Tool for calculating and simulating Permanent Magnet Synchronous Machines (PMSM) for ship drives (POD drives).
Your main task is to create documentation for our software used in electrical machine design. This includes documenting the program structure, functions, data models, and processes, and compiling user manuals. Additionally, you will document the technical background of the software, such as scripting for model creation, simulations, and other technical details of various calculation functions.
You will work closely with colleagues, with flexible working options between office and home, in coordination with your supervisor.
