Role Purpose

The Clinical Specialist (m/w/d) VELYS Robotics is responsible for acquiring and maintaining expertise in orthopaedic digital solutions and robotics within the VELYS Digital Surgery platform. They will provide training, clinical support, on-site mentorship during surgeries, and feedback to improve product performance and customer satisfaction. The role involves collaboration with various teams within Johnson & Johnson to advance digital surgery in Germany.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities
  1. Serve as the front-line orthopaedic specialist for robotics, supporting surgeons and hospital staff before, during, and after surgical procedures.
  2. Train and guide hospital staff in using the VELYS Robotics platform, including transitioning to robotic-assisted procedures and digital connectivity.
  3. Provide troubleshooting during installation and collaborate with Field Service to resolve technical issues.
  4. Act as a clinical expert in commercialization activities, including education and proficiency in VELYS procedures.
  5. Support pipeline meetings, demonstrations, congresses, and hospital visits to showcase solutions and their clinical benefits.
  6. Onboard new specialists and sales consultants, and follow up post-implementation.
Minimum Requirements
  • At least 5 years of validated experience in Joint Reconstruction/Arthroplasty.
  • Experience working in hospital and OR settings, with stakeholder management skills.
  • Technical competence with systems and technology.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in German and English.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Digital mindset and a valid driving license.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% within Germany.
