Inside Sales Team Leader Germany & Austria (m/w/d), Berlin

This role at Zimmer Biomet involves leading a team of Inside Sales Representatives in the orthopaedic medical device sector across Germany & Austria. The Team Leader will provide guidance, drive sales performance, and foster team collaboration, ensuring excellent customer service and achievement of sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Team Support and Leadership: Act as the main contact for the team, offering coaching and support; collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager; motivate the team.
  2. Sales Performance: Monitor sales metrics; provide feedback; develop sales campaigns tailored to the orthopaedic market.
  3. Operational Oversight: Facilitate daily meetings; coordinate workload; collaborate with marketing and customer service; oversee CRM usage.
  4. Training and Development: Mentor team members; identify skill gaps; conduct training sessions.
  5. Customer Relationship Management: Manage relationships with key accounts and healthcare professionals; ensure timely follow-up.
  6. Reporting and Communication: Prepare performance reports; communicate updates and feedback to the team and leadership.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years in inside sales, preferably in medical devices or orthopaedics.
  • At least 2 years in sales leadership with matrix management.
  • Fluent in English and German.

Desired Skills: Leadership, coaching, analytical skills, excellent communication, familiarity with digital sales channels and tools (e.g., Salesforce), knowledge of medical devices/orthopaedics preferred.

Travel: 15-20%, including travel within Europe for meetings and events.
