We are looking for a full-time Sales Director EMEA (m/f/d) for our location near Augsburg (Gersthofen), to start as soon as possible.

You live in Germany, the UK, or the Netherlands and work from your home office. Reliable internet and good travel connections are required.

The Department:

In this key strategic role, you will be responsible for increasing sales through direct sales and other channels. You will build and manage a team of sales experts, work with the SVP of Global Sales to define targets and strategies, and collaborate with Marketing to generate leads and participate in events.

Your Tasks:
  1. Manage a sales team with quarterly targets and monitor progress quarterly.
  2. Analyze market potential, acquire new clients, and negotiate contracts.
  3. Build relationships with key client stakeholders and communicate our technology and processes.
  4. Set annual sales targets, analyze trends, and develop sales forecasts.
  5. Develop and expand the sales team, including training and performance evaluation.
  6. Manage projects independently, find solutions, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Create and maintain account and opportunity plans in Salesforce.
  8. Collaborate with technical support to resolve client issues.
  9. Implement sales forecasting, planning, and automation tools to ensure quality and consistency.
  10. Analyze pipeline data, generate reports, and provide insights to the team.
  11. Ensure data quality in CRM systems and define data collection standards.
  12. Represent the company at industry trade fairs and events, and network with potential customers.
  13. Maintain long-term relationships with existing clients and develop new business opportunities.
  14. Act as the main point of contact for clients and support internal processes to meet their needs.
  15. Provide feedback on market trends and opportunities to marketing and product teams.
  16. Keep records of sales activities and opportunities in CRM, and submit reports timely.
  17. Collaborate across departments to ensure data accuracy and process adherence.
  18. Follow company policies and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  19. Represent the company professionally and positively at all times.
Your Profile:
  • 5-10 years of experience in direct sales or sales channel management.
  • 10-15 years of experience in sales management.
  • Proven success in C-level and financial product sales, attracting new clients.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Adaptability and resilience in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency with workplace technologies like Slack, Zoom, and multiple platforms.
  • Effective team collaboration skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Location-independent, with willingness to travel within the territory (up to 50%).
  • Motivational and recruitment skills as a team player.
  • Experience selling to universities or research labs, and knowledge of 3D printing/additive manufacturing is a plus.
  • Technical discussion moderation skills are desirable.
  • Fluent in English; German language skills are a bonus.
