Job Description:

Marmon Foodservice Technologies Europe GmbH is seeking a Lab Engineer to join their team. The role involves coordinating projects, preparing engineering documents, and supporting product development and validation processes. The engineer will test and validate new products, support VAVE projects, and ensure compliance with ISO 17025 standards. Responsibilities include managing testing activities, participating in prototype and design validation, developing reliability fixtures, and participating in quality audits.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Manage all testing activities as per the project plan.
2. Plan, execute, and report test results.
3. Participate in prototype build and design validation activities.
4. Develop reliability fixtures for lifecycle testing and evaluate failures.
5. Participate in cross-functional activities like failure analysis and quality issues.
6. Implement laboratory processes according to ISO 17025.
7. Manage calibration programs and plan instrumentation needs.

Required Qualifications, Skills/Competencies:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (Electrical, Mechanical, etc.).
2. 1-2 years of relevant experience.
3. Strong technical knowledge of engineering principles.
4. Experience with laboratory measurement instruments (temperature, electrical, pressure).
5. Knowledge of fluid handling and refrigeration systems is a plus.
6. Familiarity with laboratory practices like 5S, Kanban, lean.
7. Knowledge of environmental chambers is a plus.
8. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
9. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
10. Excellent English skills; German is beneficial.
11. Knowledge of international test standards (IEC/UL/ISO) is desired.
