We are looking for a Head of Tax Accounting (m/f/diverse) to support our Automotive division in Frankfurt am Main. You will lead the global Tax Accounting and Tax Reporting for the Continental Automotive Group, managing an expert team and being the primary contact for all Tax Accounting topics within the group. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing global Tax Accounting policies
• Overseeing deferred tax reporting, tax rate reconciliation, and special reports for shareholders
• Handling Pillar 2 reporting for the group
• Ensuring integrity and accuracy of Tax IT-System data
• Monitoring and implementing changes in Tax Accounting standards
• Enhancing and streamlining reporting processes
• Training group companies on Tax Accounting and reporting standards

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

• A degree in Economics, Business Administration, or similar, including Diplom-Finanzwirt qualification
• Extensive experience in Tax Accounting, preferably in tax advisory firms, in-house tax departments of multinationals, or tax authorities
• Leadership experience in managing specialized teams
• Strong knowledge of IFRS Deferred Tax Reporting
• Deep understanding of Pillar 2 reporting requirements
• Proficiency with Tax Reporting Systems, ideally GTC
• Solid MS Office skills
• Fluent German and English (spoken and written)
• Excellent analytical, communication, and independent working skills
• A problem-solving mindset and team-oriented attitude
