Position Overview

We are seeking a Research Assistant in the Autonomous Interactive Systems group within Faculty III, starting from 01.06.2025. This is a full-time, limited position, offering opportunities for scientific qualification (doctoral studies).

Responsibilities

1. Conducting comprehensive literature reviews
2. Performing interviews and observational studies
3. Designing interaction concepts for behavior change towards sustainable mobility
4. Developing prototypes of interaction concepts
5. Conducting lab and field evaluations
6. Reporting research findings through scientific publications

Candidate Profile

• Master’s degree in computer science, human-computer interaction, or related field
• Strong knowledge in human-computer interaction
• Familiarity with scientific methodologies (qualitative and quantitative)
• Prototyping experience
• Excellent English skills; willingness to learn German
• Experience with scientific writing is desirable
• Teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
