PLCM Capability Lead

Location: Baar, Switzerland, as per local HR hybrid policy

The Product Lifecycle Management (PLCM) Capability Lead focuses on establishing and optimizing governance, processes, and tools for Finished Goods lifecycle activities, including Artwork management, Change Control, and Data Management within the Global Supply Chain. The role involves collaboration with the PLCM Governance & Systems Lead and broader PO&T strategy to align governance, improve workflows, and maintain procedures and training. The PLCM Capability Lead drives continuous improvement across people, processes, and systems, supporting tool development to enhance visibility, efficiency, and governance.

Responsibilities
  1. System & Process Compliance
  2. Lead investigations within PLCM to perform root cause analysis and CAPA, establishing optimal processes for Finished Goods launch, lifecycle, and retirement.
  3. Prepare for inspections and represent PLCM processes and systems.
  4. Deliver training and upskill teams on PLCM workflows such as Artwork Management, GCC, and Data Management.
  5. Contribute to the development of PLCM training curricula.
  6. Process Ownership & Execution
  7. Develop and optimize lifecycle processes related to Artwork, FG Lifecycle Change Control, and Data Management.
  8. Liaise with stakeholders, including the PLCM Systems & Governance Lead and IT, to ensure user needs are reflected in systems and processes.
  9. Assist in writing operating procedures.
  10. Develop and maintain PLCM datasets and KPIs; analyze metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  11. System Oversight and Delivery
  12. Develop, maintain, and oversee PLCM system workflows and tools.
  13. Troubleshoot technical issues and establish support pathways.
  14. Execute User Acceptance Testing for IT releases.
  15. Review user entitlements and access permissions.
  16. Strategic Leadership
  17. Manage relationships with external PLCM vendors, including budget, access, and performance management.
  18. Lead or participate in PLCM continuous improvement projects, applying project and change management skills to develop plans, schedules, and ensure accountability.
Qualifications
  • Business or IT degree with an interest in process improvement, data visualization, and supply chain management.
  • Lean Six Sigma/Green Belt or similar certification is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain, product lifecycle management, or related project management roles, with at least 2 years in a similar position.
  • Experience in an international, regulated environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, capable of articulating recommendations to senior management.
  • Ability to simplify complex topics and manage multiple projects in fast-paced settings.
  • Experience with supply chain and LCM tools such as TrackWise and Oracle Agile PLM.
  • People management and cross-functional project management experience.
  • Influencing and negotiation skills for stakeholder buy-in.
