About the role

We are looking for a dynamic and highly skilled SAP Consulting / Engineering Manager to lead our SAP team and oversee the implementation and delivery of various SAP programs.

At EPAM, you will have the opportunity to enhance our SAP business growth across the DACH region as an architect and specialist, and cultivate our onsite team of expert professionals supporting regional projects.

What You'll Do

• Build and manage a team of SAP experts, providing guidance and support
• Be accountable for technical and functional leadership, architecture, and quality standards
• Provide expertise in SAP configuration, customization, and integration
• Conduct performance evaluations and foster continuous learning
• Foster collaboration between SAP consulting, engineering teams, and other departments
• Communicate business value of SAP solutions and align design with business goals
• Prepare estimates for project timelines, budgets, and resources
• Coordinate customer proposals and statements of work
• Work with architects and project teams to design and implement SAP solutions
• Manage customer relationships and expectations throughout projects
• Ensure security, compliance, and data privacy in SAP activities

What You Have

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• Fluent in German and English
• 8+ years of SAP consulting and engineering experience, especially in SAP S/4HANA and SAP DSC
• Proven leadership in managing SAP teams and projects
• Deep knowledge of SAP products, architecture, and customization
• Experience with agile methodologies and project management
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
• Proactive attitude and passion for SAP technologies

Nice to Have

• Expertise in SAP methodologies and solutions like SAP Activate, RISE, and industry-specific SAP solutions
• Skills in sales cycle, account planning, and go-to-market strategies
