Your responsibilities

The (Senior) Manager Strategy should be able to develop global & regional strategies, monitor markets, and support thyssenkrupp nucera in achieving its strategic goals:

• Develop & review thyssenkrupp nucera's global gH2 and Chlor Alkali strategy,
• Lead strategic projects independently, including joint content development with internal & external experts,
• Monitor market trends, develop long-term market outlooks, and coordinate with relevant departments to understand thyssenkrupp nucera's market position,
• Analyze strategic moves, develop business cases, and provide recommendations to top management,
• Develop regional go-to-market strategies with local business teams worldwide,
• Develop functional strategies (e.g., supply chain) with functional managers,
• Identify and establish relationships with strategic and potential partners,
• Implement strategies through initial measures and planning based on global strategies (e.g., revenues, CapEx),
• Plan, organize, and facilitate strategy workshops.

Additionally, the (Senior) Manager Strategy should contribute to external communications (e.g., equity stories, capital market presentations) and understand interfaces to M&A activities.

Your profile

Proven experience in strategy development, including:

• Several years of relevant experience, preferably in consulting, strategy, or similar roles within an international environment,
• Ideally experience in gH2 or related energy markets,
• Strategic thinking, solution-oriented, entrepreneurial mindset,
• Strong analytical skills,
• Structured, methodical working approach,
• Intercultural awareness and team spirit to leverage global organizational diversity,
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in German and English; additional languages are a plus,
• High dedication and commitment to green transition,
• Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel).
