As a Laborer at the Exchange, your responsibilities include efficiently unloading, moving, stocking, and pricing merchandise across all departments. You will also perform minor facility maintenance and contribute to the store's cleanliness, both inside and out. Your role is crucial in ensuring customers have an exceptional shopping experience — without you, the shelves would be empty!

Job Qualifications

Education: Elementary school education. Equivalent credit for relevant experience may be considered on a 9 months for 9 months basis. Ability to operate moving and cleaning equipment.

If qualified applicants are insufficient, minimum qualifications may be lowered without reposting.

Additional Qualifications / Requirements

• Availability from 8:00 AM to 7:30 PM, 0-34 hours per week, now through October 31, 2024, and from April 1, 2025, through October 31, 2025. Schedule may change with proper notice.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds)
• Ability to learn and adapt to current technology
• Quick thinking to answer customer questions
• Ability to take initiative and share brand knowledge

Salary Range

Minimum: $17.70

Maximum: $20.65

Major Duties

Unload merchandise from delivery trucks, assist in unpacking and stocking shelves, transport merchandise within the facility, and load merchandise onto customer/delivery vehicles. Perform limited price marking, operate lawnmowers and small equipment, move furniture or fixtures, and perform cleaning tasks such as garbage collection, car washing, or snow shoveling. Promote the Military Star credit card to customers and perform other duties as assigned.
