What you'll do:

• Plan and conduct qualitative and quantitative user research to understand user needs, motivations, and workflows.
• Translate research findings into insights, personas, journey maps, or UX recommendations, and communicate them effectively to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with UX design teams like SAP Build Design, SAP HANA Cloud Design, SAP Foundation Design, or SAP Integration Suite Design to foster user-centered innovation.
• Lead research initiatives across the Business Technology Platform (BTP), identifying user needs and pain points across various services and roles.
• Work closely with UX, product management, and engineering teams to ensure product decisions are based on user evidence throughout development.

What you bring:

• A university degree in psychology, human-computer interaction, social sciences, design, or a related field; a PhD is a plus.
• Practical experience in UX research methods such as user interviews, usability testing, surveys, contextual inquiries, or diary studies.
• The ability to independently plan, execute, and synthesize research in complex enterprise environments.
• A proactive team player who enjoys working in international, cross-functional teams and shaping UX strategies.
• Experience in enterprise or B2B software is beneficial but not mandatory—willingness to learn and a proactive mindset are key.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
