Key Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and timely capturing and execution of customer sales orders.
- Provide first-line support to customer inquiries and resolve queries promptly.
- Enhance customer experience through excellent customer service.
- Collaborate with Sasol teams (M&S, Supply Chain, P&O, QM, Finance) to deliver value and achieve service excellence.
- Process sales orders, debit/credit notes, rebates, commissions, and samples in SAP, ensuring compliance with business processes and governance.
- Monitor open orders, check documents, resolve issues, and keep stakeholders informed of deviations.
- Communicate order status to customers regarding confirmation, delivery, and scheduling.
- Investigate and resolve customer queries within set targets.
- Manage consignment stock processes, including reconciliation and invoicing.
- Issue pro forma invoices in coordination with M&S.
- Follow up on payment reminders with customers in cooperation with relevant functions.
- Manage letters of credit with relevant departments.
- Maintain SAP order processing and housekeeping.
Qualifications and Experience
- Commercial education required.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar customer service environment.
Skills and Competencies
- Advanced knowledge of SAP, MS Office, and information systems.
- Experience in customer service or inside sales with attention to detail.
- Good understanding of chemical operations and products.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus.
- Ability to work across cultures and as part of a team.
- Tolerance for stress and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in German and English (written and spoken); additional languages are advantageous.
