Our Senior Solution Architect Identity & Access Management (f / m / d) (Digital Solutions | Future Energy Home) develops and operates software to manage home energy devices such as photovoltaic systems, inverters, batteries, EV charging wall boxes, heat pumps, and meters as a cloud-based solution for our central and local units, enabling them to rollout these solutions to end-customers. We integrate with numerous vendors’ devices and apply centralized insights, analytics, and control mechanisms for these devices.

Meaningful & Challenging - Your Tasks

1. Design and ensure proper Solution Architecture of our Future Energy Home IT platform and product portfolio, with a focus on Identity & Access Management (IAM).
2. Analyze and evaluate business and IT requirements from the Product Owner to translate them into meaningful technical designs for one or more agile feature teams.
3. Create overall recommendations and conduct proof of concepts (PoCs) to improve the architecture of our platform and product portfolio.
4. Manage from conception to development the standards and procedures for the uniform introduction of new approaches.
5. Collaborate with other Solution Architects and the Engineering Lead(s) to ensure and improve the agreed architecture.

Authentic & Ambitious - Your Profile

1. Profound understanding of cloud and cloud-native solution design, especially focusing on Identity & Access Management solutions (e.g., Auth0, Cognito, or others).
2. Broad experience in AWS, especially with serverless services (e.g., Lambda, DynamoDB, etc.).
3. General understanding of DevOps practices, tools, and overarching platform standardization (e.g., IAM, API Gateway).
4. Familiarity with common security challenges, mitigations, and observability patterns related to cloud and microservice architectures.
5. Preferably a software development background in TypeScript / NodeJS or other major languages.
6. We offer full flexibility: work from home or any location in Germany, including our offices from Hamburg to Munich. Up to 20 days per year can be spent on workation within Europe.
