Job Description:

As the asset manager of Munich Re and ERGO, MEAG makes a significant contribution to the success of Munich Re Group. Our staff bring together peerless know-how in all the relevant asset classes and are the driving force behind our success as one of the world's top asset managers.

We are seeking a talented Infrastructure Debt Transactions Analyst at our Munich location as soon as possible.

  1. Work in deal teams of two/three to actively execute infrastructure and project transactions.
  2. Contribute to structuring transactions, extensive term sheet and contract negotiations on project finance, infrastructure acquisitions finance & corporate-style transactions.
  3. Manage internal and external counterparties, conduct and coordinate due diligence on transactions.
  4. Present suitable transactions to MEAG's decision-makers.
  5. Support management with horizontal initiatives, business planning, and management initiatives.
  6. Candidates should have 3+ years of relevant professional experience in infrastructure/project finance/leveraged buy-outs/asset-based lending.
  7. Experience in deal execution, negotiation of term sheets and documentation, and ability to lead these processes is a plus.
  8. Structuring and modelling experience in infrastructure finance is highly advantageous.
  9. Strong analytical, quantitative, and communication skills are essential.
  10. Excellent English skills are required; knowledge of German or other foreign languages is highly desirable.
  11. Outgoing, communicative, energized, and self-motivated individuals who can act and learn independently.
  12. Can-do attitude, collaborative, with readiness to support team members or other teams to overcome challenges.
  13. Relationship and counterparty management skills.
  14. Contribute to a friendly and cohesive team environment.
