Job Description:

As an Account Manager for Metal Framing & Pipe Supports (MF&PS), you will serve existing customers and identify new growth opportunities to generate revenue, improve profitability, and support business growth. Develop strong relationships with key partners, end-users, OEMs, and other stakeholders to ensure our MF&PS products are specified and purchased, meeting sales targets.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will implement the regional MF&PS strategy in Germany and meet your set targets. This position is based in Germany.

  • As an ambitious sales professional with a hunter mentality, you will drive business growth in Germany using your in-depth knowledge of MF&PS products.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with regional and European goals.
  • Analyze market opportunities to maximize margins and market penetration.
  • Seek synergy opportunities across the company in processes, tools, systems, and cross-selling.
  • Understand our products thoroughly to advise clients effectively.
  • Maintain relationships with distribution partners to align with local market characteristics.
  • Drive sales excellence and performance across channels.
  • Ensure pricing policies are in place for each sales channel.
  • Forecast and report on sales volumes regularly.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Technical Services, and other teams to share market insights.
  • Attend industry seminars, trade shows, and conferences.
  • Use CRM tools professionally for sales activities.
  • Work collaboratively as part of the team.

Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in business or technical fields, 5-10 years of sales experience in HVAC, strong technical knowledge, strategic planning skills, and excellent communication skills in English and German. Experience with Salesforce.com and SAP is desirable. Willingness to travel up to 75% is required.
