What you'll do

We are seeking a Cloud Foundry Control Plane (Associate) Engineer (f/m/d) for SAP Business Technology Platform who is eager to collaborate and contribute new ideas. Your work will involve cloud-native development, DevOps, automation of CI/CD processes around Cloud Foundry, and agile development practices such as test-driven development and pair programming. You will identify areas for improvement using data from services and applications, and help automate operations and configuration. Working within a motivated team, you'll quickly learn and apply new concepts, processes, and open-source technologies. Your daily tasks will also involve close collaboration with teams worldwide within SAP and Cloud Foundry. We seek a strong, committed, self-motivated, reliable, and analytically skilled team player.

What you bring
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Golang, Python, or Ruby
  • Experience with modern software engineering practices including coding standards, reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and releasing
  • Knowledge of SQL databases and Linux (bash, vi, ssh)
  • Experience with Cloud Platforms (e.g., SAP CP, AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba Cloud) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
