IT Application Specialist (m/w/d), Mainz (hybrid) *IP

Tasks:

• Ensure compliance with standards, good cyber security practices, local regulation, regulatory requirements
• Actively contribute to the Global IT Shared Services Delivery strategy
• Responsible for the service delivery of local and Global Platforms - Application Layer areas including quality of IT deliveries & performance of solutions
• Provide Support for local and Global Platforms
• Implementing & extending Companies tools & inspiring its use within the business environment, advising on best practices to ensure its features are utilized to their fullest
• Proactively identifies improvement areas, including user training on how to leverage Platforms
• Interacts with and constructively challenges users & stakeholders
• Delivers quality configuration & development work relating to IT systems in scope.

Skills:

• Engineer or university equivalent (bachelor’s degree) in computer science, information technology or equivalent
• Excellent knowledge on IT business landscape, especially in the field of ERP / CRM (Sage, MS Dynamics, S/4Hana)
• Good experience in Database, SQL queries, business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, Power App
• Ability to gain understanding of business processes and unmet needs, while also managing expectations and scope
• Experience managing external suppliers and IT vendors
• Knowledge of the life sciences industry preferably
• Fluent English and very good command in the German language
