Essential Functions

1. Manage groups of engineers responsible for all phases of the software project development cycle.
2. Establish operational objectives & plans, and delegate assignments.
3. Develop, modify, and implement company policies that positively impact operations and outcomes.
4. Implement new projects, policies, and procedures; ensure project goals are met.
5. Lead local and global projects utilizing technical, project management, and people management experience.
6. Take responsibility for results, including costs, methods, and staffing.

Job Requirements

• Understanding of the product development cycle and project management.
• Experience with storage platform management is highly desirable.
• Experience managing software development projects in Linux/Unix environments.
• Knowledge of system engineering concepts such as computer architecture, operating systems, file systems, networking, algorithms, and data structures.
• Experience with Machine Learning Libraries and Frameworks: PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, OpenAI, LLMs (Open Source), LangChain, etc.
• Proficiency working with Linux, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), Kubernetes, containerization, and orchestration.
• Experience with NoSQL document databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra, Cosmos DB).
• Experience building Microservices, REST APIs, and related frameworks.
• Knowledge of Big Data Technologies like Spark, Hadoop, and distributed storage systems.
• Experience with AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Experience with storage or cloud technologies is a plus.
• Strong people skills and ability to influence and build relationships across all organizational levels.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive team towards goals.
• Experience leading teams on SaaS applications across AWS, Azure, GCP.

Education

• Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science/Electronics, or equivalent experience.

• At least 10 years of experience as an individual contributor and 5 years in technical leadership and people management.

• Proven ability to manage multiple critical projects.
