Jobbeschreibung

  • As Purchasing Manager Europe, you will plan, manage and monitor all purchasing activities.
  • You are responsible for the availability of the required materials (raw materials, packaging materials, other materials and consumables, equipment, laboratory goods) and will lead a team of currently five employees (m / f).
  • You will develop, manage and control all purchasing processes and be responsible for the continuous improvement of procurement processes.
  • You will develop and shape long-term business relationships with suppliers in Germany and abroad and coordinate new business projects and acquisitions in relation to purchasing activities.

Qualifications :

  • You have a university degree (economics with a focus on materials management / logistics or comparable) or similar.
  • You have at least 3 years of professional experience in a managerial position with personnel responsibility in a company in the chemical industry or have gained comparable experience.
  • You are a strong, solution-oriented leader with good communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to motivate and develop your employees.
  • Your strengths include initiative and goal-oriented, structured and independent work with a hands-on mentality - even under deadline pressure.
